There’s a wide dosing range, some people do well with lower doses, other people do well with higher doses. So instead of trying to figure out exactly what someone should do, better to give someone a starting point, and a methodology. The optimal dose may involve some trial and error.
Cannabis therapeutics is personalized medicine. There is no single CBD:THC ratio or dosage that’s optimal for everyone.
Smaller doses of CBD in the morning for energy. (5mg to 10mg)
Medium dose of CBD for relaxing and winding down to sleep. (25mg)
Higher dose of CBD to manage pain and more chronic, daily issues. (25mg + )
We have a variety of concentrations in our tinctures. (600mg, 1200mg, 2400mg)
Each tincture contains the cannabinoid (CBD, CBN, THCV, D8) and a carrier oil. Which allows smaller doses by shaking the bottle and loading a quarter or half dose from the graduated marked dropper.
Full dropper dose for the 600mg tincture (20mg)
Full dropper dose for the 1200mg tincture (40mg)
Full dropper dose for the 2400mg tincture (80mg)
Small dose for appetite suppressant. (10mg)
For energy and mental clarity (20mg)
THCV Guide and that doc says: THCV is only psychoactive in extremely high doses, similar to CBN. Our gummies are 10mg each piece. Our 600mg tincture is a 20mg dose per full dropper.
Regular cannabis users can take higher doses with no negative side effects. (40mg to 80mg)
If folks are not users, then 20mg is a starting point. Case by Case.
Our Tincture is a 40mg dose. Shake the bottle, then measure a half dose or quarter dose.
Our 40mg gummies can be cut in half but the tincture is easier to measure an accurate smaller dose.
Figuring out the right amount for you
The amount of CBD you should take depends on a range of factors, including:
- body weight
- the condition you’re treating
- your individual body chemistry
- the concentration of CBD in each pill, capsule, drop, or gummy
